Is Flattr the new Facebook Like, but this time with real money?

I do believe the future of commerce, is in voluntary payments, not forced payments. Convincing people to want to pay you, will be the key to success.

This is brilliant. If they play their cards right, they become the defacto choice for video editing, and get money from the ad-on marketplace they create for it. It is generally better to own the marketplace, than to own the products sold on it. Examples are Apple's iTunes, Amazon.com, and Valve's Steam.

What is Choice?

To tackle the question of whether or not we have free will, I think we need to first determine what it means to have a choice. So, my question is this: if a person's choice can be predicted ahead of time, is it still a choice? Example: if you were offered two choices of dessert (perhaps a slice of cake or pie), and it was obvious to people who knew you, which one you would take, was that still a choice?

The definition of Free Will is often based upon having the ability to make a choice. If the answer to my question is yes, then it's possible for determinism and fate (the outcome is already known) to coexist with Free Will (choice).
